As skin firmness changes over time, Morpheus8 works within the deeper layers of the skin to support structure and resilience, particularly through areas such as the jawline and neck.
Morpheus 8 is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling treatment that combines two technologies in one: microneedles that create tiny channels in the skin, and heat energy that reaches deep into the dermis. Together, they work to stimulate collagen and improve skin firmness, texture, and tone. Launched in 2020, it’s become a popular option for skin rejuvenation, particularly in areas where signs of ageing are more noticeable.
Morpheus 8 is often recommended for clients experiencing skin laxity due to a loss of firmness or volume. It is particularly well suited to areas where signs of ageing are more visible, such as the eyes, mouth, jawline, and neck.
Morpheus 8 may not be suitable if any of the following apply: Pregnancy. Allergy to topical anaesthetic. Use of certain medications, including oral isotretinoin, corticosteroids, or blood thinners. Immune-compromised conditions (e.g. HIV, lupus, poorly managed diabetes). Presence of active cold sores, infections, open wounds, burns, or skin cancer. History of keloid formation, excessive scarring, or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Dermal filler within the past six months. Thread lifts within the past twelve months. Due to the risk of rebound pigmentation, this treatment is not recommended for melasma. Inability to tolerate discomfort or commit to downtime
Once the skin is numbed, your clinician will use a specialised handpiece that stamps fine pins into the skin while simultaneously delivering radiofrequency (RF) energy beneath the surface. These tiny micro-injuries, paired with deep heat, trigger your body’s natural repair response, stimulating collagen production, tightening the skin, and gradually improving texture and firmness over time.
While a topical anaesthetic helps reduce discomfort, a sensation of heat and skin pricking can still be felt during the treatment. Some clients find Morpheus 8 manageable, while others may experience higher levels of discomfort. Warmth in the treated area may persist for several hours post-treatment.
To ensure the best possible outcome from your Morpheus8 treatment, please follow the guidelines below: If you are prone to cold sores, consider using an over-the-counter antiviral prophylactic. Discontinue topical Vitamin A (retinol) products for up to two weeks before treatment. Cease oral anti-inflammatory medications two days before treatment. Cease fish oil supplements seven days before treatment
For the first five days post-treatment, or until all post-treatment skin reactions have fully settled, it’s important to support your skin with the following care: Use only a gentle cleanser morning and night. Apply a moisturiser or your prescribed post-treatment product as directed. Avoid direct sun exposure. When outdoors, wear a broad-brimmed hat and apply (and reapply) SPF 50 sunscreen throughout the day. Refrain from vigorous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, or any heat-based wellness treatments for at least 48 hours. Following these guidelines will help optimise your results and support a smooth recovery.
Downtime typically lasts five to seven days, depending on the treatment area. During this time, you may experience: Pinpoint bleeding, redness, bruising, and mild swelling immediately post-treatment. Light scabbing, dryness, rough texture, and temporary darkening of the treated area. Mild shedding as the skin renews. In some cases, small bumps may remain in the treated area for up to four weeks. Your clinician will follow up after your first session, and we encourage you to contact the clinic if you experience any responses that are outside of the expected range.. Results, downtime and treatment response will vary from person to person.
To address specific concerns, we recommend a minimum of three treatments, spaced four to six weeks apart, followed by a review. Your clinician will tailor the treatment plan based on your individual skin goals.
$485 One-Third Face (e.g.mouth area) $715 Two-Thirds Face (e.g. cheeks, eyes and forehead area or neck area) $860 Full Treatment (e.g. face and neck)

To maintain results, treatments may be recommended every six to twelve months, depending on your skin concerns and treatment goals. Your clinician may also suggest alternative or supplementary treatments if more appropriate for long-term support.
In addition to not proceeding with Morpheus 8, alternative treatment options may include Ultherapy, Thermage, Emface, CO2 laser, chemical peels, cosmetic injectables, or topical and oral therapies. During consultation, your clinician will discuss the most appropriate options based on your concerns and ensure your expectations are aligned with what the treatment can reasonably achieve.
