Using a 1927nm wavelength, Clear and Brilliant targets a selected percentage of the upper layers of the skin to resurface and increase the penetration of active skincare, stimulating collagen and elastin production and improving the look and feel of the skin generally.
Clear + Brilliant causes a hot and scratchy feeling on the skin.
If you are prone to cold sores, we recommend using an over-the-counter prophylactic to reduce the risk of post-treatment breakout.
Take it easy on your skin for five days, or until all responseshave subsided. Use a gentle cleanser morning and night, along with a moisturiser or your prescribed post-treatmentproduct.Do not scratch, pick or exfoliate the treatment area until all micro crusts have naturally fallen off. As always, you should avoid direct sunlight, and wear a high SPF sunscreen and hat whenever outdoors.
Expect around five to seven days of downtime with dry, rough skin and slight darkening of the treatment area. Redness, sunburnt sensation and mild swelling under the eyes can last up to 48 hours. Mild shedding may occur.
We recommend two to three treatments at four-to six-week intervals, followed by a review. Treatment number and intervals will be reviewed by your clinician based on your unique concerns.
To support ongoing results, maintenance treatments may be recommended every three to six months. Your therapist may also suggest alternative or complementary procedures if they are suitable for your long-term goals.
Clear + Brilliant is one of several treatment pathways available. Alternatives may include chemical peels, CO2 laser, Fraxel, Moxi, Laser Genesis, IPL, or microneedling. During your consultation, your therapist will discuss all appropriate options with you to ensure your expectations are aligned with what this treatment can reasonably achieve.
